hat, edgings
Finished the hat!


At the top, I switched from the previously mentioned stitch pattern to stockinette (as is probably obvious). At the bottom, I did a row of double crochet off of the cast-on edge, which I think gives the hat a nice border and also makes it a better length than it was without an edging.
Speaking of edgings, I checked out Knitting on the Edge from the library today, which I'm really excited about. I owe Anne a pair of fingerless gloves (eep - they were supposed to be for *last* winter!), and I think I'm going to try one of the edgings from this book on the cuffs.
