hat in progress

I started this hat on size 7 circulars, because I can't seem to find the majority of my circs - aah! I wanted to do it on 8s, or maybe even 10s, but I don't know where those are. So this will be a pretty dense hat, but it might just work out fine. I hope it's not too much an oxymoron that it's a lacy hat knit densely...it is definitely the thickness of a winter hat, but I think the lace bits are small enough that they won't let in huge amounts of air. And (although I don't know if they want hats...) if I send this to Tennessee - well, I figure they probably have less need for completely solid hats than we do here in Minnesota.

This is a stitch pattern from
Sensational Knitted Socks
, actually...
